Education

For college I attended California State University, Fresno. During my time at Fresno State, I joined Kappa Kappa Gamma, where I held executive positions Event Coordinator and Public Relations Chair for multiple semesters, this is when my love for PR developed. During my last two years at Fresno State, I was the Public Relations Manager of the Public Relations Student Society of America, Student-Run PR Firm TALK and for the Mass Communications and Journalism Department at Fresno State. My responsibilities for these roles were: manage social media calendar, social media content and creation social media boosting/advertising, student, faculty & staff relations and social media analytics. I also coordinated special events for the department and served as manager on multiple communications committee's with the University.

While earning my degree in Public Relations, my part-time paid position was Public Relations Director of Kremen School of Education and Human Development, which is a large department at the University. Throughout college, I also served as a Public Relations Volunteer for non-profits such as; Central California Women’s Conference, the EECU Brick Committee, Marjoree Mason Center, and Central California Girls Scouts. At my department’s graduation ceremony I was awarded the Outstanding Public Relations Graduate Award, by the Department of Mass Communications and Journalism Chair.
